The Durham City School Sport Partnership compromises 42 Primary Schools (including Infant and Junior), 6 Secondary Schools, 2 Special Schools, New College Durham and the Independent Schools in the Durham City district. The School Sport Partnership works closely with Durham Gilesgate Sports College and Sixth Form Centre which is our hub school.

The Partnership aims to ensure all young people aged 5 - 16 participate in 2 hours High Quality Physical Education and all 5 - 19 year olds access a further 3 hours of sport outside of curriculum time, both on the school site and in the community.
